    Tere baad kisi ko apnana bhool gaye,

    Phir laga sara jahan veerana hum ko,

    Jaise Chaman me phool meheknaa bhool gaye,

    Tum se mohabat hi bataya saare Jahan ko,

    Yahi baat tum ko batana bhool gaye,

    Hum ne mita diya jahan bhi likha tha Naam Tera,

    Magar apne dil se mitana bhool gaye,

    Woh juda hue hum se muskrate hue,

    Magar apni palkon se ansoo hatana bhool gaye...
