    uss mod par le jaegi
    tab dekhna tumhe yaad
    maa ki har baat wo aayegi

    wo baat baat bar poochna
    ke kahin tum bhooke to nahin
    baat dil mein hei, mujhse kaho
    kahin mujhse roothe to nahin

    koi aisa gham koi aisa dukh
    bhala mujhe to tum batao beta
    iss chand se chehre se tum
    aansoon ko to hatao beta

    jab tum pareshaan se hote ho
    meri raton ki neend udh jaati hei
    aankhon se mere, aansoon ki ladi
    dua ban ke rab ke paas jaati hei

    jab mein na hoon pareshaan mat hona
    meri baton ko yaad kar ke mat rona
    iss dunya mein kahan koi raha hei sada
    in aankhon ko beta tum mat bhigona

    mayoosion ke jab chaye badal hon
    apne dil par haath rakh lena tum
    band kar ke apni aankhon ko phir
    ho jana meri un yadon mein ghum

    mein janti hoon tumhari yadon mein
    mein kabhi bhi marr nahi paongi
    jitna bhi tum bhoolna chaho mujhe
    mein utna hi tumhe yaad aaongi
